We hired Doug at Sound Dynamix because we were referred by a friend who had used him at their wedding. I was very impressed by his professionalism. I had a lot of obscure requests in music and he found every single song I was looking for. He also conducted a follow up meeting with me a week prior to our wedding and brought all of our music selections to verify that he had the correct versions. We changed up a couple of things last minute, and he was able to meet all of our last second requests. He is extremely diligent in getting back to emails etc and it gives you a piece of mind. Doug had never done a wedding at the venue that we had chosen so he went down to the venue to check out the equipment that was needed on his own accord.
I can honestly say that we had one heck of a party. Our guests were on the dance floor for the entire evening. He met the needs of the crowd, was able to honor song requests and read the room extremely well. I had a full house at 1:00am when our wedding shut down. More then half of our guests stayed until the end and I feel that it’s largely due to the fact that our DJ was so good!!
I would recommend Doug and his team to any engaged couple, or anyone for that matter.

Doug Russell is not only awesome at what he does but he is very professional and easy to work with. Sound Dynamix was my favorite company to work with for our wedding. Doug went above and beyond for me and exceeded my expectations of a DJ.
I wanted to have 2 picture slide shows playing during the wedding. One was played during cocktail hour and the other was played during my father daughter dance. Doug was very knowledgeable and very excited to do this for me. He put together 2 picture slide shows for me EXACTLY how I wanted them. I must have sent him 50+ emails regarding it and he answered every single one of them promptly. Guests loved them during the wedding and I now have very special pictures that play on a video to look back at.

We met Doug Russell just over a year ago on our search for a DJ for our wedding and stag n doe. When we first met Doug he were very impressed on the knowledge of his profession. We decided that Doug would be the perfect fit to all of our wedding plans. Getting to know Doug we quickly became educated on the experience and different types of events he has done. His prices were very reasonable and he worked with us to make each event perfect. For each event he would sit down with us prior to work out the important details first and then kept in contact with us as the dates approved to make sure everything was just right. “Doug is an excellent wedding DJ. Before the big day he worked closely with us to ensure he would play the songs we wanted and ensure his setup would be efficient. He arrived on time and I honestly didn’t even notice him setting up his gear. All of sudden it was done and he was ready to go! The sound quality was excellent and the light show was really cool. My husband and I hosted our 1980’s Dirty Thirty Birthday Bash in November 2012! We had the food, the costumes, the decorations, …. but nothing mattered as much as the music! We were a bit picky looking around to the find the very best disc jockey for our party. We wanted to find one that would feel the crowd and have a variety of music. We came across Doug at Sound Dynamix. He reassured us he would not cease to impress us with his playfulness with the crowd, variety of musical selection and light show. Impressed to say the least! Doug definately full-filled all of our requests both with the light show and music selection! He was punctual and flexible with a variety of things, especially time. Never had I hosted a party that was so fun that we had to go an extra hour! Doug was more than willing to stay longer to make sure our party was everything we had hoped for! If you want to be sure that your entertaining needs are in the right hands, I recommend Sound Dynamix! Sound Dynamix has definately earned itself a life-long customer! Thank you for a wonderful night of memories to cherish.

Doug did an excellent job at my daughters wedding. We had a last minute cancellation and he was able to fill in and look after them very well. He had all the music that they needed and then some. He really set the mood just right. My daughter and son-in-law were very happy with everything that he did. The lights were set perfect and the laser lights were great, they kept my grand daughter entertained. The wedding went off just according to plan.

Doug Russell and his company, Sound Dynamix, were recommended by a friend who used his deejay service at her 30th birthday party and was very pleased with the job he did. She spoke of his laser light show, fog machine and wide array of tunes. Many of the guests at her party commented on the quality of Doug’s “show.” I thought, “I have to give this guy a try.” When we were organizing a multi-generational birthday party for two aunts and a cousin, I decided to approach Doug. The thing that’s refreshing about him is his enthusiasm, professionalism and “I’ll try anything once” attitude. That’s certainly reflected in what he does. The reviews from our party were positive across-the-board. The light show and fog machine were impressive and the music kept people on the dance floor for most of the evening, no small feat since our guests ranged in age from 20 to 70. So, good job, Doug. I’m looking forward to the next party!

Just wanted to send you an email thanking you very much for your services last Friday…..I was a bit worried considering the majority of the crowd was over 70.
You did an excellant job with the music…your mix was awesome you seem to know what to play and when to play it and you have quite a variety as well .. from the young to the very old…… I have this dance once a year. I call it “The Old Neighborhood reunion dance…. and this is the first time I’ve seen so many up dancing in 5 years….. I’ve had 4 of them calll me and ask for your telephone number… (which I gladly gave them)I’ll be calling you in a few months to book for next July……… Great Job Doug……. Thanks
